Our son Alex started going to Noah’s Ark when he was 3 and loved Noah’s Ark at every level. We loved Noah’s Ark too!
The last week of 5th grade Alex was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and would need help counting carbs and giving himself insulin shots at every meal. He would also need someone to watch his behavior to make sure his blood sugar wasn’t too high or too low.
My husband and I worked full time and wanted to keep Alex’s normal routine, which meant Alex attending a summer program. That first summer of type1 diabetes we would only trust the staff at Noah’s Ark to take care of Alex. Noah’s Ark agreed to have 3-4 staff trained for Type 1 diabetes. In addition, all of the staff knew Alex very well and could pick up on personality cues that would indicate he may have low blood sugar.
Noah’s Ark enabled Alex to have a normal summer and gave us piece of mind knowing they would take great care of him. They have always taken great care of him. We can not thank them enough.
Noah’s Ark is the best place, it’s really nurturing. We love Noah’s Ark, it has been there forever. We have a big family connection. You can’t get better quality childcare for a great price. You should take your kids to Noah’s Ark Child Care because it is the best childcare center in Reno. They’re so friendly and sweet and loving to our whole family. It’s hard to get a place that has all that good energy and good vibes for everybody involved. What Noah’s Ark has that a lot of other schools don’t have is longtime teachers that are there. They know the kids. They know the families. Always smells clean, you always see the teachers wiping the stuff down.
After months of being a skeptic about where to take my child for after school care I finally took my child in to see the administrators at Noah’s Ark. After just one meeting I was amazed at the level of care and the attentiveness of the staff. They were all so nice to my husband and I, and to my child before we had even decided to go with them. The level of care only grew once we began to bring our child there every day, and she is so excited to tell us what she did every day when we pick her up! Thanks Noah’s Ark for putting our minds at ease and a smile on our child’s face!
The staff at Noah’s Ark is one of the best I have witnessed and experienced in child care. Their approach is not so much about keeping an eye on the kids and making sure they have something to keep them busy. They focus on helping them expand their minds! The guide them through activities and help them learn problem solving and bring out the best in their creativity. I especially love how much they help my son pick up after himself. He has been much better at cleaning up his messes at home, and I know that is coming from his before and after school care.
After one tour of the Noah’s Ark campus I was convinced my child would have a blast with all the things they had to offer. I was right! Giving him the ability to run around and play has been great for his attitude and for his ability to express himself. I love how much Noah’s Ark has worked with him on sharing and being kind to others, both outside and inside! Thanks Noah’s Ark for helping us mold our child into a great boy!
